I had the urge to draw an older Scootaloo as I attempt to hash out what she’d be doing as an adult. Unlike the show’s canon, I think the CMC, while still very close friends, don’t stay the cutie mark crusaders for the rest of their lives. They have their own individual talents and destinies that take them in different directions. Scootaloo thrives in high speed, high octane, airship races. (Called Spearships) The airships are basically small single pilot crafts powered by lightning of all things and reach speeds of up to 1000 miles per hour. (Legally restricted to 400 mph for races) It’s one of the most dangerous sports in Equestria if not the whole world. Some citizens want it outlawed but Scootaloo can’t get enough of it. I would draw this so called spearship…but I’m no good at drawing mechanical things. I’ll take a crack at it in the future.
 
The picture on the left is just a quick sketch I made while listening to the Tailspin theme on repeat. Perhaps if she takes a less dangerous path in life. Or this could be a temporary detour (While she is pregnant with her son, Rowdy Rocksteady) she’d totally be a bush pilot and either work for or own a cargo/freight business. Less dangerous unless you run into some sky pirates.
