I think Magitek would be the best compromise.

Well, I see it from the perspective of someone who has worked with former combat wounded comrades. But I won’t push that. As I said, just my opinion. Normally I’m no friend of McGuffins myself. ;-)

I haven’t watched the episode yet but that is just cute. As I said earlier, if she gets a episode of her getting her wings that will send a message to the handicapped that no matter what happens there’s always hope to accomplish your dreams.
It might actually affect her on a way if she gets her wings, but as I said earlier a episode where she gets her wings will give the message that people shouldn’t lose hope and there’s always a way to fix everything. And yes you might actually be right, she kinda would lose the identity that makes her highlight.
True. I don’t deny that she really deserves it. I think it’s a matter of the point of view of a person. What is the more important part in life? To fulfill all your wishes or to follow your purpose. But that’s the problem with the whole cutie mark thing and so on. That’s the reason why I’m highly curious about her in The Washouts (S08E20). I think/hope that there will be a little more progress then back in Surf and/or Turf. Still her scene made the whole episode for me. ;-D

I agree, but even thought for all the things she has been doing just for the opportunity to fly is just sad. I think she deserves those wings.
Sure, I can understand the feelings of whose wanting her to fly alongside with Rainbow Dash. And maybe she shouldn’t stick with her old scooter forever. But I think we’ll have to wait for the grande finale of G4 if there is a solution to please all of her fans. A magitek device wouldn’t be that bad at all. With the choice only to use it occasionally because there are more important things for her. Just my humble opinion. :-)

To elaborate, there are plenty of ways she can fly with asstance. Like tanks coptor or ponks balloms or a cloud scooter.
