I’ve seen some clips of the reboot but I had no idea that was their plan. Goodness, ya gotta let this go on naturally. If the 2018 show is good enough, it might be the 2020’s call to the 2010’s brony fandom. Someone in the original tweet even came up with a name. Bearbros.
Anyone else remember the last time they tried to reboot Care Bears on the Hub? Remember how the PR firm they hired tried to directly market it to the Brony audience by including phrases like “Care Dude” and “Belly Bros” in the official press release?
Man, I have some really fond memories of watching the old shows that were airing on CN… hmm, maybe ten, twelve years ago? I hear some pretty good things about what they’re airing now, too.
huh that’s an unusual show for CN to put up, last time they tried to put up shows for a much younger audience it didn’t last long. and if your wondering what I’m talking about back in 2005 or was it 8? either way CN tried to have an educational block like nick even had its own website I forgot what it was called but it had a few shows made for real little kids. I can remember 2 of them, one was the land before time series and the other was called dinosaur bucket. given CN current state I doubt that they’ll try that again
If Cartoon Network aired it, then they will probably air it exclusively at 6:30 AM on Saturdays with no reruns and little advertising. Then a few months later, they will announce that they cancelled it because the ratings were low.
