Your grammar is better than you think. If I was to be extremely picky, I think that you should have said “so” instead of “but” because you went forward in your sentence without contrasting what you were talking about. That is not very relevant though because your grammar is quite fluent.
 
Back to your comment though: I think that this clip was intentionally created to reference MLP and its fanbase. There is a horse in it that looks almost completely like Twilight Sparkle, and this person even realized that Anon was placed in the background of the scene.
 
You are right, though. This is technically not related to MLP.
