Plus, the eye is opened unnaturally wide. Eyes aren’t usually opened that wide unless a sudden death occurred to the one to whom those eyes belong. It’s unsettling because it, whether consciously or subconsciously, evokes a feeling of looking at somebody who is dead, because of how much eye is exposed.

The shading and coloring is fantastic!
 
But I can’t help being critical about the face. Her snoot is a bit big and her eyes are a bit small and creepy.
 
Still an amazing piece of art though
