Well, another crazy idea. It came for me because of their similar colors.
I already did something like this before, but that was a comic with Ember and Rarity and Scepter of Dragon Lord.
For this case I decided to make up an artefact special for this. Who knows, maybe it was not the last swap I did.
Gallus now has to choose between a dino turned into chicken or chicken turned into dino.
Yeah, that seems to be it. This Smolder looks about as old as Lightning Dust (specifically her because the mane reminds me of LD too)
We have four good examples of teenage ponies on MLP: Fluttershy in flight school (knowing she’s a year older than the other M6), AJ from “Where the Apple Lies”, Plaid Stripes, and Sandbar. The key is that they have slightly thinner limbs than full grown mares or stallions, giving them the lanky appearance of human teenagers.
Mane style, perhaps?
There’s something about Sandbar that makes it obvious he’s a teen though. But I wouldn’t be able to say what specifically.
Either way this Smolder just feels wrong to me.
Teens are apparently as tall as grown mares and stallions, if Sandbar’s depiction is meant to be accurate. X3
“HAHAHAHAHAH” Summons a million daemons!
HERETIC!
PS. Praise Lord Tzeentch!
Well I can switch from comedy to drama in a whim. And I wanted to get laughs from drama (no internet drama, you know what I mean).
@Twi_Clown
Optimism, Time, and Anger, the only three things I have WAY more than I’ll ever need, because sadness is anathema to me.
Can’t you just let us enjoy this moment of cruelty in peace?
… Curse you and your optimism >:U
Implying that magic is applied to the mind and not the physical body…
Also, if the problem is magical in nature than a skilled mage could figure out the problem and reverse it easily, and if there’s anything that Fallout Equestria has taught me, it’s that the scientific method can also be applied to magic.
No offense Sweetie, but despite your higher common sense in other aspects, I can’t picture you as a scientist.
This is implying that magic is not at play here. If it is some form of magic that is allowing smolder to fly, then science is thrown out the window. Or if there is some form of curse on scoots, etc.
“If you needed a smarter pony then why didn’t you say so sooner?”
Assuming that Scootaloo can think as a scientists, and she doesn’t. That can only work if somepony else like Twilight or Sunburst is there to supervise them. So yeah, bad luck for scoots.
Edited
Applying the scientific method will solve all problems, if Smolder’s mind in Scoot’s body can make it fly, then clearly the problem is mental, not physical, then Scoots could take a video and write down everything Smolder does differently from her in her flying pattern, thus learn what was causing the problem, then she can attempt recreating what she had observed, if it doesn’t work then she should compare what data she has gained from the experimentation with the data contained within the original hypothesis, continue to compare and contrast until by process of elimination she’s figured out exactly what she was doing wrong. If the problem is a physical one then it can be solved using medical science, such as various surgeries or even artificial limbs or other mechanical enhancements. Science wins!
Scoots allows you to reorganize your language one more time.
