I’ve been beaten to upload my own art by seconds. I made everything ready on both Derpibooru and Deviantart. I published it first on DA to get the link, which takes a few seconds. Then put it in the source of Derpibooru and published that, but it got rejected. … Better upload to Derpibooru before Deviantart in the future.

Oh, sorry! I didn’t understand that the first time. I was thinking that you meant that I could report this image as a duplicate as an image I would’ve uploaded, which I was unable to due to it being identical. I’m on it now though!

Off the top of my head, Amnarynceus has had 2 pics featured and Dsana has had 3 featured, and I don’t know how the staff pick featured images, so I wouldn’t write it off just yet.

It’s something I’ve considered, but the implications aren’t great for the future if I were to ever release my models. For example, CreatorOfPony’s Blender models are released and whenever someone uses his models, he also gets credited as an artist despite not directly contributing to those kinds of pictures. Would that mean that no one would technically be allowed to post renders of my models here? I would actually like to see an alternate credit system where I’d be credited differently as a provider of a 3D asset rather than being credited as a direct contributor as the “artist:” tag would imply. Then yeah, I would consider a do-not-post ruling for my artist tag in that case.

I had it ready to go less than 90 seconds after my DeviantArt submission, and I haven’t ever seen someone beat me to uploading here before even if it took me way longer than that. I know it was something that can potentially happen if I wasn’t quick, but I didn’t think it’d get beaten that quickly. Oof
