Actually, her official last post was part of a discussion on the Eternal Thread 2.0 thread.
 
But her last image comment was indeed a rather poignant goodbye… and it does feel as if it was a foreshadowing

Her last post was a goodbye, wich makes me think she actually knew about her health condition, and even with that, she was happy and cheerful until the very end.  
I didn’t get to know her so much (just saw some of her comments here and there), but just with what I know I admire her personality and actitude.

Yes. A lot of people have no doubt been “in the dark” about what happened to Lobi, and were worried sick. It’s good that this has been brought to light.

OP (sir bumpaous) said that it happened right about a year ago, yes? So lobi has been missing for more than a year now, And today her fate has been unveiled.

raise some kind of suspicion? Like; “where’s lobi?”, “what is happening to lobi?”, “where she gone?… That kind of question, u know.

She was more than a friend, she was a best friend… and more than a best friend. She was a super best friend. Why did she have to go… :,(

I’m recently came back from the “dead”, and took a good stroll on eternal thread v2. Scroll up and down… I’ve been looking for my indo-friend cyan, found it, view his page and resort to his last activities and i arrived here. And then i knew lobinchi is no longer with us in this world.
 
Pls tell me this is some sick practical joke. Cus this feels weird and doesn’t feel right.

I never really knew Lobi as much as I wanted to. She would comment on pictures on my oc, complimenting her and expressing her fondness for certain things we both liked. I remember once she called Pone her “sock sister”. I found that adorable honestly. It’s a real shame cause her and I only really talked once and it was brief. I could tell already that she was a sweetheart and a really fun person to be around. She could be considered only of my only few friends on this website, but I just wish I talked to her more often. I wish her friends and family the best of luck with their recovery. Rest in peace my sock sister…

Honestly, it’s still quite make me sad about this, I mean I saw her as my big sister, but life can be quite unfair. Goodbye my lovely big sister, your little brother will miss you.

I’m so sorry to hear that. My condolences to anyone who knew her personally. I didn’t really know her well, and I wasn’t really close to her but… I can’t help but feel like I’ve lost a close friend. I’m sorry I never got a chance to meet you Lobi. We love you.

This is unfortunate to hear. I was never close with Lobinchi, but I did talk with her a few times last year, and she seemed like a nice person. RIP.

jesus christ, this hit me like a punch to the gut. i didn’t know her as well as some of the other folks in this thread but honestly, she was one of the most likable people on this whole damn website. always gregarious, always cheerful, always extremely candid in a funny and endearing way.
 
honestly what really hurts about this is that she apparently died only a couple of weeks after she posted her last comment on derpibooru, which makes me wonder if she knew she didn’t have much time left. i vaguely recall someone saying she left because she was going back to school, but now i’m starting to wonder the real reason was due to health problems. i wonder if she had some kind of congenital condition? it’s very unusual for someone as young as her (younger than me i think) to very suddenly develop respiratory failure, unless she had bronchiolitis obliterans or pneumonia for a very long time but didn’t do anything about it until it was too late. i guess she must’ve kept her fandom life mostly separate from her personal life considering nobody close to her told anyone here about her death until just now, and those who did know were apparently caught up in “personal issues” that held up the news for over a year somehow (which baffles me honestly, but that’s neither here nor there.) i wonder how her girlfriend’s been holding up since her passing? i know they were very close and it must’ve been absolutely devastating for her to lose a life partner so suddenly. i wish i knew a way to give my condolences, although that probably won’t do much good over a year later.
 
RIP lobinchi. you were a bright, shining light in the dark, dismal shithole that is the internet. we’ll never forget you.

I was told about this a couple months ago. Unfortunately I didn’t get to know her all that well during my time on here, but i know she meant so much to so many people on here and was loved by so many. It’s always disheartening to hear news like this.
