as for holly, being clever doesn’t mean caring about what you produce, and since the last two times they produced a quality product, it went bad… I can’t imagine they were willing to risk much the third time. but seriously, the reason flim and flam aren’t going to function as heroic characters is because the show staff don’t want them to be heroes. I’m just speculating how they could avoid making the brothers boring, if they wanted to have them do something besides villany.

well, they are clever inventors, and they do have some awesome songs. they run a casino a fun park, so that could always be an opportunity for crazy things to happen. they’d make good peter pan style heroes I think, where they’re smug and scheming, but end up saving the day to everyone’s surprise.
 
honestly, seeing the evil do-badders defeated at selling things again is starting to get kind of old.
