its not like they have a long list of magical vampires of his variety. you could argue changeligns but they stole energy, not the aiblity of magic itself rom people.
In desperate situation even the most evil thing could help and they know what’s going to happen if they release him.
I predict there’s going to be conflict between the mane six.
It’s like in order to catch a serial killer you need to work with a psychopath that’s hate the police.
One small wrong move its game over.
Granted, the Mane 6 probably know that they can’t really trust him unlike the last time with Discord, so they probably have already something in mind if he turns rogue.
