You guys do know this doesn’t really mean anything right, it’s not like this is the first time Spike has done something nice for Rarity and just like how the times before it went nowhere this will also go nowhere.
Because this show since the beginning has liked teasing you with Sparity without actually doing anything with them in the long run, so why would this be any different.
This moment was so sweet and deep…
And the sparkles in her eyes when he started singing made everything even sweeter.
One of the reasons I love Sparity so much is because, usually, when there is a one-sided crush in a cartoon show/anime, the girls tend to reject the boys in all the possible ways, both verbally and physically (slaps, punches, kicks etc), but in this case, even if she’s aware of his feelings for her, she didn’t want him to stay away from her, IN FACT, she adores him.
Theyr bond has become stronger and stronger throught the series, and he confessed his feelings to her IN SEASON 2!
How could I possibly not love these two together?? :D
Very well done, Spike, for putting your feelings for her in your song.
She DEFINITELY appreciated it (your cheek can confirm that XD) ;)

Never said it better myself …though I wish the writers would stop messing around and finally do something about this whole Sparity gig instead of it constantly dragging it’s feet.
I like how those lyrics are actually pretty bad, and yet so clearly heartfelt. They perfectly capture the feelings of a young man who has a crush on a woman he thinks is way above his level.

everything depends on how willing you are to achieve what you propose
There are people who sacrifice everything for their dreams without measuring the consequences.
This scene really brings me to tears, especially when you actually put together the lyrics together and find out that Spike is confessing that he feels he’s so terrible at giving gifts that he’s hoping he didn’t ruin Rarity’s day.
Not the Winterzilla attack, not the grabby pudding, he was worried that his lack of a gift for her, due to being unable to properly come up with one, was the thing that would ruin her holiday.
