There are a couple which might be usable for a pinky comic such as “party” (though I would prefer not to spoil Pinkie’s celebrations with politics), fair (though with all of the interpretations of this word being rather positive it is not easy to make a good joke of any resulting misunderstanding), rock (but since Maud is around I am sure this one has been beaten to death by now) or tire (but it too may easily look far fetched to impose a car tire when the sentiment of fatigue at the end of a long party is meant).  
Still I think homonyms can make for very good jokes if one manages not to let them appear too forced.

My mistake. Sorry for the typo.

Canon = Something which is an officially accepted part of a fictional universe. Cannon = a type of artillery.
 
Pinkie Pie likes to throw parties. This is canon.  
Pinkie Pie owns a projectile launcher rigged to fire confetti. This is a cannon.
