If we treat these QT bats like most medical supplies I use, there’d be a strict no-reuse + no-sharing policy, of course. “One bat per patient!” :D
 
But in the interest of preserving the lives of these adorable smol bat pones, I’ll postulate that they are immune to most communicable human diseases, viruses, infections, etc. As to the exact reason for that immunity, I’ll leave that to others to decide.

Can you just imagine the scene in a Star Trek Med Bay? Instead of a waving a probe they call for a Little Medical Bat Pony, who dutifully flutters into the room and takes a moment to look over the patient. Then he lands, next to the hand in this case, as the LMBP (or Limbap, as they are becoming known) has decided the best choice for a painless sample will be from the thumb.  
The patient reacts to the bite more from anticipation of pain than the actual experience of it. Another moment passes, then the Limbap smacks its tiny lips and and faces the doctor.  
“BP is 142 over 91, Sodium 160, Cholesteral 209,” The grey Limbap reports only the abberations - readings too high or too low - but can recite all the information it acquired if asked. and in this case a bit more.  
The Limbap then turned to the middle-aged patient, “And that salted-caramel cheesecake you sneaked for dessert was delicious!”  
The patient reddened.  
The Limbap, its job complete, leaps off and flaps to its berth to await the next patient.  
“Next time, Doc, use that tri-medical-quarter-thingy. I like it better.”  
The Doctor smiles. “Most patients who habitually cheat on their diets do.”
