LOL Ah! You’re killing me!
People say Bronies and Furries are separate groups, not so separate now. And better than to use popular icon from each group.

Technically Yes and no. But if you’ll allow me to get into a big discussion, here goes:

Bronies are active fans of My Little Pony, Friendship is Magic. Furries started out as fans of a certain sci-fi genre(don’t quote me on that).

Anyway, they started out as fans which wanted to draw fan-art of sci-fi involving anthropomorphic animals. But they suffer from what us bronies are suffering from as well: A vocal minority. The minority are interested in sexual pleasure from these characters, and generally gives both fandoms a bad name, and anyone outside of these fanbases disrespect us for these vocal minorities.

On a different note, we both (sort of) appreciate the same things. We like cute ponies, they like cute animals in general. I know for certain, lurking around on their sites for a time, that they do make brilliant art, and they also make fan fiction just like us.

TL;DR: We both have the same interests in general, and the same problems, so we really shouldn’t be hating on each other.
