Adult Swim wanted to rerun Megas XLR but they found out that they couldn’t because Cartoon Network wrote it off for tax purposes. This means no one can ever reair or revive the series.
 
And it’s not the only series that Cartoon Network has done this to. Beware the Batman also suffered the same fate for example.

I don’t care about adventure time ending.

Megas XLR never really got a chance, did it? I remember really enjoying it when I first saw it. It’s a shame, really.
 
Also, ponies. If they think they’re just going to be forgotten, then they really don’t understand the pantheon that they’re ascending to. Just look at the godly cartoons that they’ll be joining up there. Some from my childhood, some from my adulthood, but all pretty great and fondly remembered in the end.

The thing with FIM is tha it has set franchise´s quality bar so high, whatever other route Hasbro takes to develope the new generations will fail.
 
I´m happy that, like with those shows (except invader zim), we will have a final season to close everything.
