Kinda surprised they’re doing that, considering Sombra already was revived in the IDW comic series, and it’s probably going to contradict that.
 
As much as I like Sombra, I kinda prefer he stay dead, as I liked him better as a more subtle villain, and as the only character officially killed off, (besides that one-eyed monster thing) bringing him back to life is kinda cheap.

I wonder if IDW’s binge on draconequus as of late is to make up for when they couldn’t do a Discord origin issue?

Now you’re bringing back painful memories of that time I watched the Bubsy pilot episode.
 
I went in hoping for “bad in an amusing, riffable way”. Instead – despite the best efforts of Rob Paulsen, Jim Cummings, etc. – I felt myself growing dumber by the minute and it wasn’t even funny. I mean, even the Star Wars Holiday Special at least had some memorable moments you could joke about afterwards; Bubsy didn’t even have that.

don’t pretend them. that’s why nobody agrees with that rare ship. Fluttershy is young and discord is old, in S9 will be friendship and what you say is not logical.

… but yeah, if this was supposed to be a really long time ago, then different character designs for the Abyssinian and deer royals would have been appreciated.

Sombra 2.0 color scheme how? Its way more colorful then crystalslave mans red/black color scheme. If anything Eris(that other chaos wielder from the comics) is an apt comparision. Maybe discords dull colors are an exception to chaos spirits.

Oh yeah, this is the past. After she return to modern Equestria she will probably see Discord with Fluttershy and freak out again.

Cosmos is THAT bad?

Discord hanging on to the princesses just to get away from disharmony…ehhh I don’t buy it. If anything, knowing his character, He would probably just bask in the chaos for a while and have fun and then like after getting yelled at by someone then he stops usually by the command of fluttershy though because he only really listens to her.

This….feels so…cheap…
 
Like, there was once a sort of deity like system for these characters. Luna and Celestia as sun/day/bright stuff and Luna as moon/dark/negative stuff, and Discord as spirit of chaos, flipside of the concept of Harmony being the mane6. Now alicorns got kinda messy but fine we can deal, but now we have a 2nd draconequus thing on another level called…Cosmos? How? Where does SHE fit in?
 
I mean yes new character yay but she needs a name and role that adds to this whole friendship embodiment system and maaaybe a color scheme unlike Sombra 2.0?  
Let’s see how it turns out but it looks kinda lazy as of yet.

Though admittedly not seeing that ‘Harley Quinn’ comment one of the writers(?or Andy) made. Harleys whole schtick with the Joker is WAY different than all of discords feelins about this. Its like if the Joker became infautated with Dr.Harleen Quinzel in some bizzaro universe.

Wow, look at that motherfucker of a tree. Cosmos seems like she likes eldritch/uncanny valley horror more than Discord’s campy and occasional Dr. Facilier type antics.

I wish they’d have led with that rather than talking about her power level, that sounds a shit-ton more fun.
