She was beaten by one of the most dangerous schemers we’ve ever seen, while she didn’t have her magic, which wouldn’t have helped her there anyway because taking Cozy Glow’s cutie mark wouldn’t have accomplished much. And having someone use a mind control spell on her doesn’t say anything about her usefulness, especially if it turns out she was specifically neutralized so she couldn’t screw with the villain’s plans- not that that’s likely, she’s probably just a background pony for the episode. Which is fine, by the way, the Mane 6 can have the first episodes of the last season.

Problem is that she was suposed to be super powerfull character but in season 8 finale she was beaten by kid and now they show us she become useless in season 9

Actually, they’re out of diapers and walking around, so they have in fact aged slightly since season 2.
 
About three or four years, going by general time during and between seasons.
 
Heck, in “Non-Compete Clause” we’re told it’s been eight months since “School Daze”
