Eh, I’m not sure if I buy the whole “Discord is above resorting to physical violence” thing when it comes to his chaos.

Looking over this makes me think of Rick and Universal, to an extent. Like how Cosmos just “assimilates” others to her will just like Unity. Except in this case the roles are slightly reversed, for Rick it was Unity to be the one that got away. In Cosmos’ case it’s Discord, but we get to see a glimpse on just how damaged and broken both characters are inside. They both act apathetic towards others, they both come off as cynical when it comes to relationships. But both are almost always crying out for help through their actions

Since this whole arc is about Discord love interests, it will very likely end with high amount of discoshy shipping.

Like I said, he may not hurt them physically, but the sort of emotional and mental torment he put them through was still breaking them in a sense.

Seems to fit Discord, after all… He saw ponies as “toys,” and broken toys are no fun.
