Like Ashchu in “Hocus Pokémon” episode? It was also supposed to be Pokemon mindreading spell, but resulted in transformation.

I get feeling “she talks to angel” is either a body swap, species swap, or personality swap

Hardly. Season 8 was the worst. There were two or three good episodes. The rest were trash. The show definitely jumped the shark in that season.
