I feel that the entire analysis community as a whole are basically going the way of the dodo. KP was just the tip of the iceberg as they started their decline. Nowadays if there’s anything even remotely negative that they feel might tarnish their reputation in anyway they will imediately turn on each other like a pack of rabid dogs.

I mainly enjoy Sketchy’s Season Roundup videos. I heard that he said that due to the mediocrity of the 8th Season, he’s only going to do 2 roundup videos. One will cover the episodes before the mid-season hiatus, and the other for the final episodes.

I don’t really get thay impression to be honest. I just see it as him seeing that whenever the show improves Pinkie’s character in one episode, the next one completely invalidates the character’s improvement by their actions.

honestly I will admit this is a bit Patsy but most of the ones I was following did something that struck me the wrong way I didn’t watch them afterwards(fortunately not channel awesome levels). one of them felt like he was acting like a messiah because he didn’t like Pinkie Pie before yakity-sax

Alot of fans actually aren’t too fond of the brony analysis critics either, so they aren’t necessarily free from criticism themselves.

i always felt like those “episode analisis” came out of as lazy, in certain ways  
as in, most of the time they are just stating the obvius, and i dont really understand how some got such a large following by just.. more or less react to an episode  
mlp on itself isnt that deep or complex that you need to analize it
 
the only mlp youtuber i actualy follow is dwk, because atleast he does things differently and with effort, and a lot of booze
 
its also interesting to see patterns between said “brony analysis” people

Oh? So I’m not the only one who thinks so? For a moment I thought I was being too critical with them. Except for Toonkrytic, that little f–ker needs to get his head ran through a wall-stud. And what I mean by that is search a wall, find a support beam ( or load bearing) and continously slam his head into it over and over and over.

True. Granted the show has a good sense morals for kids to learn. But in the world of adulthood morals are lot more skewed. But that’s just human nature as a whole if you ask me. We don’t live in a magical world of rainbows and sunshine.
 
But in the show it’s also been depicted that their world isn’t perfect either, but its like people only take the parts of it that they like and just adapt it to their lives while ignoring everything else that the lesson was about in the first place.

It’s almost as if when someone’s only contribution to a community is trying to tell everyone else what to think about certain topics (AKA, much of the “analysis” scene in a nutshell) rather than creating real content for the love of the creative process and the source material, it might be a red flag that the said someone has some control /validation / self-worth issue needs they’re trying to fill.

While you have a point, some take the show/fandom too seriously, there have been good things to come out of the fandom, as well. Like the charities, and such.

Though, I think we’re kinda beating a dead horse here, as KP is basically old drama at this point, and overall most bronies no longer care about the “brony analysis” folk.  
I hate to bash, but to me, they kinda come off as just another ego-stroking, wannabe-professional, entertainment-critic gang like some of the ThatGuyWithGlasses people. (And similarly, there’s been alot of drama with them, as well. Especially, of the poor work conditions/treatment, Doug being a jerk to people, and such coming out. Though, that’s a whole other topic/trainwreck.)

I think thats probably why quite a few of these analysts have so many meltdowns. Letting MLP dominate their lives probably drove them insane.
 
Basing your entire lives to an existence of a single show, let alone a kids shows with only a portion of important life values to live by as an adult, go over the heads of some of these poor loons.  
Inevitably, this makes them do childish shit that trustworthy people would never do, like scamming your animators, blowing up on your audience that care for you and blaming everyone else but him or herself.

Just to be clear I’m not trying to condemn anyone (except Toonkrytic). I’m just saying how they went about handling the situation was done very poorly.
 
They shouldn’t have confronted him on it in the first place. The guy obviously doesn’t care about anyone but himself so why would want to turn himself in just because some of the people he used tell him to?
 
But he knew this would have damming repacutions on all of them that’s why he tried making demands that they all do things “his way”.
 
The guy is clearly a sociopath who only thinks of himself and just uses others to get what he wants.
 
So if the guy thinks he can get away with something, he’s obviously is going to see what else he can get away with as long as he surrounds himself with people that he can use at his disposal.
 
In all honesty I wouldn’t be surprised if he tried to frame one of his current “friends” for murder at this point just so as long as it puts him in a positive light in the eyes of others.
 
So no. I don’t hate the analysis community I just think they made a poor call of judgment.
 
As for Toonkrytic or whatever that sentient shit stain is calling himself these days? Karma is coming and Karma is a real bitch.
