Personally, I find this one a bit worse, but maybe that’s because I was more or less satisfied with the amount of Equestria we got in Spring Breakdown.

Well the majority of episodes haven’t really wrapped anything up and even the ones that did, arguably handled the ideas rather poorly.

Just watched the special.
 
I’m also among the disappointed. The special was pretty good, but the music video leading up to this led you to believe they were going to play a much, much bigger role, not to mention that it really felt like that they had begun to change, or, gee I don’t know, beginning to “find the magic” of friendship?

The special was recorded from the Latin America version using SAP but the muted parts are Spanish comments on the channel like “We’re right back with Equestria Girls”

Well, the show is ending, so much like with Friendship is Magic with Scootaloo’s parents, it does feel like the show’s writers wanna close any loose ends.

But I was satisfied with their brief, yet faithful showing. Even though their encounter is made null due to the context.

They lure you in with a false sense of hope, wrap you up in emotions and just when you think you’re safe - BAAM - the cold hard truth hits you.
