Have you been paying attention? All of these characters have already reached their end goal. Twilight is going to be Celestia’s successor, Pinkie Pie is a freelancing party pony who wants to keep spreading happiness, Fluttershy stopped being a bawling coward and grew a pair, Rarity has her boutique in Canterlot, Applejack is running her farm with her family, Rainbow Dash is a Wonderbolt, Spike is accepted as a member of Twilight’s ‘family’, and as for Discord’s relationship with Fluttershy, the staff have said multiple times that there is no shipping for the main characters.

I hope so. I don’t really mind early airings anymore, but would be really cruel of them to leak the series finale someplace else two months earlier.

There are only seven other episodes without a date. China will probably stop at 18 before the other episodes get released.

Well so far it closer to Sopranos, as it just ignores any conclusions to character story arcs, while LOST used very bad way of trying to resolve it all in one season.

It couldn’t possibly be that bad, could it? We’ve already had a couple of great episodes IMO.
 

We have like 6 episodes + Finale with no synopsis and this season didn’t make any closure to any character beside Scootaloos parents. No episode about Dash becoming a Wonderbolt captain or redeeming Lightning Dust, No episode solving Sparity or Discord relationship with Fluttershy, not even Pinkie Pie concluded with any goal progression since she decided she doesnt need one. This season going to be remembered as the most disappointing one. It already feels like the ending of LOST
