Or realistic, it’s like if my Clevo gaming laptop has a worn out keyboard I can just buy a new keyboard online and just pop out the broken one and replace it myself.
If I had a Apple gaming laptop (apple has gaming laptops, right?) and the keyboard breaks, I either take it to a apple store and ask them to fix it, mail it in to the Apple mothership or just replace the whole thing, if I had a apple laptop for a whole year, it’s time for a new one, right?

[FURIOUS SCREAMING]
It can’t be. She’s not wearing a turban.
Go figure. I’ve yet to get a new computer, myself, since the one I got from my mother’s boyfriend nearly a decade ago still works.
Runs on Windows 7 and everything.
@HDPlayer
I haven’t bought a apple product in years, but from what I’ve heard from others, that seems spot on.
My desktop computer is a AMD Ryzen system, the most useful tasks it performs is running Folding at Home when I’m not playing games on it. It runs Windows 10, Ubuntu and OpenSuSE Linux.
I just bought the new Ryzen 7 3700X cpu which should arrive today in the mail, as far as my system, to include Windows, after the CPU upgrade is concerned it’s still the same system.
If I were to seriously drop some money on this upgrade and buy a new AMD X570 motherboard to go with it (which I don’t need right now) Windows would be like “omg why are you running me on a new computer! Time to reactivate!”
As long nothing drastically changes with installing new motherboard and Linux can load new drivers, Linux should just boot up with a new motherboard and keep on running fine.
I swear if there wasn’t so many games that I want to play right now that won’t run correctly under Linux, I’d drop Windows 10 from my life completely.
The high point of my life right now was to actually get Fallout 4 to actually start under Ubuntu, too bad I can’t for the life of me figure out how to manually install mods for Fallout 4 without using a mod manager… But every mod manager that I’ve seen so far seem to have some very intense software requirements, needing stuff like a full installation of .NET or they simply crash when I try running them…
oh well.
@HDPlayer
I don’t buy their products, so I wouldn’t know.
I’m on it! O_O7
Mister T-J the Pones! You are utmost a POOT!
TJ Copied! This shale not go unpunished!!
He must be called a poot immediately!!
Paradox confirmed.
To be fair, that IS usually easier than trying to untangle the mess some people make of their PCs/laptops.
That is a sure-fire solution.
