Just because they became more friendly towards eachother doesn’t mean they would suddenly turn around and scrap all their plans for revenge.Chrysalis wants her throne back and even if she was given it back she would have no reason to cooperate with Equestria any longer afterwards (Not to mention the changelings would never accept her as queen again). She is an imperialist bent on power, she will never accept peaceful co-existence with Equestria.Tirek’s whole existence relies on fighting Equestria. He will never accept passing the rest of his days as a frail weak thing, and he needs to absorb other ponies’ magic to get stronger, which obviously nobody will accept without confrontation.Cozy Glow is just… something else. You can’t redeem her by teaching her friendship- because she already knows, and has demonstrated that she doesn’t care. She doesn’t think of other ponies as anything other than a tool to leverage more power- trying to befriend her will just cause her to turn her so-called reformers into another one of her tools.
