“Anonymous coward” is the old Slashdot equivalent of “Background Pony #__.” You know, posting anonymously, frequently used to lob out an inflammatory accusation without a public account so that readers can’t hold you … um, account able. But that’s really besides my point.
What I’m actually poking fun at is your inability to accurately describe the underlying reality that you claim upsetting you. That whole “promoting sexuality on a children’s show” thing? Didn’t actually happen. Unless you count all the times characters displayed a crush (you know, romantic interests!). Which Sunset Shimmer conspicuously did not.
So overall I find the combination of your motives and your modus operandi amusing. They amuse me. But I don’t take it seriously.
Indeed, it almost seems as though you’re being insincere on purpose. Some people have been known to post inflammatory “opinions” which may or may not match their own in order to stir up controversy or instigate emotionally charged reactions as a source of entertainment for themselves. Given the blatant lack of factual content in your position, indeed the very counterfactual nature of it, combined with your desire to remain anonymous rather than pseudonymous, one might suspect that the whole thing was meant to draw out argumentative responses rather than honestly engage in any kind of discussion.
