I mean, I like the paring of Sunset and Princess Twilight, but what makes me unconfortable with this is the way it was done. I mean, Sunset could be bi and all, but the tweet feels like if they’re just throwing shit at people.  
It feels more like if they’re trying to pander LGBT fans rather than actually making LGBT characters for actual storytelling value.  
Nowadays, while there’s still homophobia, there’s also some heterophobia around as well, and it makes you feel that if you belong to a group, you must be an enemy to the other even if that’s not what you really feel.

honestly, I was more upset about katrina’s attitude. at lauren’s case was clearly jokes, but this sounds more like a unprofessional buuthurt. not mention the other girl throwing shit to straight shippers like they were the bad guys, even when straight shippers were also harassed and probably more for the LGBT shippers, no one is a white dove in this fandom.
 
also remember the people who calls homophobic to the EG staff when ragamuffin and dirk appears? it’s the same people who is ‘‘celebrating’’ this now. nice double standard

Kinda reminds me when Jay Pinkerton tweeted that Ms. Pauling was lesbian. A lot of the TF2 fandom went berserk because Scout and Ms. Pauling was such a popular ship, and some people also though that it was done just to make fun of Scout since he tends to be a bit of a butt monkey. Then was rather revealed that Pinkerton’s vision wasn’t shared by the rest of the development team, as some argued that Ms. Pauling could be asexual and some others just think she’s a workaholic but might have some interest in Scout despite everything so the tweet itself could be either a joke or was a single opinion that wasn’t shared by the rest of the crew.
 
This is why I’m rather indifferent to sexuality and I also take with a grain of salt tweeter’s sexuality revelations.

I don’t think so, mostly because the tweet itself looks more like a vented frustration or trollish post rather than an actual canon fact.

I think we all think Sunset being bi is a nice idea, but not pointing any fingers, it could have been done better.
