Interesting theory but i personally think its a birthdefect in scoots case, even though bulk bizeps can flly well enough with his tiny wings well enough. I especially dont think its meant to be a gender related thing, because if it was all the Sjws would loose the everlasting shit and i dont think hasbro wants to be labelled as “overly sexist”.

I have to wonder if the ability to fly is supposed to be a gender thing. Are there other pegasus mares or fillies in Equestria with earth pony fathers? What about pegasus stallions or colts? In such mixed families, maybe the ability to fly is strictly dominant in male ponies?
