If I wanted a continuation of this show, I’d want a sequel show starring a new characters such as a magic-less Unicorn, a hyperactive Dragon, an intelligent Changeling, a rockstar Griffon, a timid Yak, an artsy Hippogriff, and a grouchy Kirin. And it should have a TV PG feel to it.

Where’s the rumor? Her being demoted to extra after issue 50 is an objective fact. But not proof they won’t return her if they have reason.
The comic usually doesn’t have any problems with continuity. The only thing off the top of my head was that time when Twilight refused to stop some criminals because she can’t “use her magic against Equestrian citizens” but did so earlier in the comics.
And when it comes to contradicting the show, it’s usually the show that contradicts the comic instead of the other way around.
Yes! I’m willing to give Season 10 a chance. But I wonder how much the comic book writers will coordinate with the show writers so there wouldn’t be too much continuity issues…

I love comics too, I grew up reading Turma da Mônica/Monica’s Gang/Monica and her Friends. I’ve read a few official MLP comics and they’re decent. I wish I could find a place to read them online and for free.

I actually love the comics like this, star wars, Marvel, DC etc; i read them always. The show is over and the comics still continues. Both are stuff differents.

As canon as the comics have always been, anyway. When you get down to it, so long as they don’t contradict the show, they’re as canon as the reader wants them to be.

It means a wish that comes with an ironic or otherwise bad twist. Like you wish for a million dollars but you only get it because your favorite grandparent dies etc.
