You’ve made a lot of lame arguments in here, and that… is definitely one of them. The reason nobody needs to defend wizwinds is because almost nobody is screaming about them the way people like you always seem to show up to scream about mares/girls being shipped; all but a few cranks have just accepted that those two are a couple.

Rarity having only been shown making eyes at stallions just means Rarity has only been shown making eyes at stallions. The real world is full of bi people in relationships with The Opposite Sex; that is very specifically not the same things as “straight”, any more than an ambidextrous person favoring right-handed writing for convenience’s sake makes them “right-handed”.
Images of hetero sex get tagged as straight on Derpibooru for categorization/indexing purposes to make them easier to find or hide, not as some kind of relationship mission statement.

Maybe he’s being a bit ridiculous, I’m not sure. But it’s certainly not helping anyone when something that approaches a stereotype is thrust upon us with no lead-in, no explanation, no hints besides cutesy “oh look they said the ship name in the show twice!!” points, a final episode together that was one of the worst in the show & just pushed the stereotype harder, and overall nothing to construct things beyond the stereotype.
The “Season 10” comic (if they go for that, which I personally hope they don’t) would be a weak band-aid that most people don’t care about.

I’m not saying that. I’m saying its cliche and stereotypical to make somebody like RD, rainbow mane and all, a lesbo. Even Faust herself said that making Rainbow a lesbian was a dumb idea, instilling the idea that you can’t be a girl who likes to do boy things without being gay.
I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again. I’ve always noticed that the people who hate stereotypes with a burning passion are the same kinds of people who are want not one, but TWO of the most tomboyish ponies in the show to be lovers. Hypocrisy is running rampant in today’s society and it’s f***ing sickening.
