Probably be smart of them to just admit defeat. Even if Mewseum loses, who knows what sort of trickery and curses she might be able to use on that place XD
@Bluesliver The sphinxlover
Especially since the ponies seem to be able to handle big angry monsters smashing stuff, because that sort of thing happens like every other week or so. How on earth are they going to handle a lawsuit? XD
@Badumsquish
I can just see the meeting between the lawyer and the ponies who owns the museum. Must be very intense for the ponies, but the same time, they must be pleased to see that the sphinxes is not like a dragon, hydra or anything other monster who punish them by stamp the building down or eat them. xD
@Bluesliver The sphinxlover
Lol yeah, I figure they’d hate big neanderthals that just throw their strength around. It’s why Mewseum here hired a lawyer to sue the museum for using her likeness, when it would have been much easier for her to show up and just trample the building into the dirt XD
@Badumsquish
That is sure their own way to stand out and not be compared to like dragons or other brutal beasty creatures there use their size and strentgh to demonstrate their powers. Inteligence is the sphinxes keys, even if i could imagine some gets too power hungry and dont care much about the wisedom and instead intimidate the ponies to follow them. But that will makes them be seen as outcasts from other sphinex, and i think ponies can defeat a big bully sphinx if they make a organised attack. :D
@Bluesliver The sphinxlover
Thanks! I like too how it boils over into their every day society, like how asking riddles is a casual part of their life, and why they respect intelligence and wisdom over sheer brute force in spite of their massive size and physical strength :D
@Badumsquish
Okay, now you impress me! For this is really a great reason of why she use riddles. I have for a long time forgot all about the riddles and mostly used them to sphinxes as part of their cultures and as a prove for they like to be smart and challenge each other with riddle games. Your idea is both a strentgh and a weakness to her and feels very balanced. It also keeps a lot of sphinxes to not be too brave with their magic if there is risks the challenger can answer right on the riddle. I must give you respect for that! Do you mind if i take notes of this? Its again so inspiring! :)
@Bluesliver The sphinxlover
It’s actually a big reason why I love the whole riddle game aspect of it, which also gives me an excuse to justify why she asks riddles and why they can defeat her. I like to think that asking riddles is like a gamble that can boost or weaken her power, kind of like a Rumpelstiltskin kind of thing. Getting her riddle wrong or her getting yours right boosts her power and allows her to use advanced-level magic rivaling some of the stuff Discord can do, but getting her riddle right or her failing to guess yours will negate her powers or even make them outright backfire :D
@Badumsquish
I personal think that size magic is a bit overpowerd, but mostly when it comes to growing magic. I see it as something more skilled sphinxes can use or them there knows its secrets. Could also be they got it from the unicorns magic they was able to drain, when they step into their territory. The Sphinx is sure one there knows that secret, since she clear has wisedom, a sharp mind, and her outfit shows she has style and understand that a impressive look can make it easy to manipulate ponies.
But yeah, its what there is great with your art with her. You makes macro/micro art to silly fun we can enjoy. xD
@Bluesliver The sphinxlover
No prob. Usually for me her size is an afterthought, and it’s like I draw her big enough to do whatever macro/micro thing I want her to be doing. I was just lucky that her powers in the show were just vague enough that I could reasonably claim she can just change size at will XD
@Badumsquish
True there! I has also been thinking she was kinda like 4-5 stallion sized tall. I has just been wondering how tall she really could be to future projects and art with her and sphinx characters. The Sphinx size seems often pretty comfortable in many cases in your art, since she is not so big that she will break everything, but still big enough to interact with ponies, don’t eat them too much out, and still fit in many places. :D
I’d say she’s between 5 and 6 times the size of an adult stallion in canon. That doesn’t sound like a lot, but even if you only assume ponies are 3 feet tall that puts the sphinx at 18 feet, which is about the height of your average two-story house :D
@Bluesliver The sphinxlover
Badum has said a few times that his version of the sphinx can make herself bigger or smaller as she pleases, though she seems to always be bigger than most ponies.
@HDPlayer
It’s not a terribly long time, though it depends on how complex the picture is of course. I actually did a recording of me doing a picture which took about a half-hour (I sped it up though) :D
xDDDDD

Its maybe a fight they will not win for once. xD

It’s honestly hard to say, since there’s not a lot of scenes of a pony and the sphinx on the same plane together. Going off of this pic though:

Just mean in standard size in general. Like how big she are in the show compared to ponies.
Badum has said a few times that his version of the sphinx can make herself bigger or smaller as she pleases, though she seems to always be bigger than most ponies.
so would that be more like strapping him to her dick or more like shoving him down it?
heehee!
Sounds good to me!
She’s also going to use him like a toy for quite a while :D

i’ll take that as a yes.
also how do you even make so much art, since it’s vector based like the show i would’ve assumed it would take a long time to get something done
