I don't put faith in Hasbro to do the right thing. I put faith in creative artists, writers and other talented people to actually make a good product. At least once I see their work, and get a general vibe for how their work tends to measure.
I have no idea what kind of crew is actually working on this show though. I would be very worried if the actual writers from TTGO were on board, but I don't think they are.
Anyway the problem is, like I keep telling people, I haven't seen enough to get an idea of what this will be like. We haven't even seen an actual real clip of the show - just a weird promo thing. I'd wait before at least one episode before panicking, and even after that I'd still give it a season or so before dismissing it.
This may be an unpopular opinion but I actually think many of the oldest G4 episodes - especially the pilot - are the worst examples of the show. For me things didn't really get special until season the tail end of s1 and season 2.
