I don’t thikn I can forget you, Glimmy, You’re a shining example of when even just a bit of listening is performed, moving words can enter within, and thereby an understanding can be formed - and a dark, resentful heart can be opened to the light and improve over time to be undeniably amazing.

More to the point, like her or hate her, I honestly don’t see the point in her most obsessive fans hyping her up as if her popularity was anything but divided.

Everyone knows her reception was divided, so it comes across as less real then the comment of a Starlight fan that actually acknowledge her character and writing issues but still likes her within reasonable level.

Starlight, you had some of the best character growth on the show! Don’t listen listen to those people who say otherwise!

Do you honestly not realize how whiny that reply was? Like Holy Crap, I honestly thought for a second you were parodying a butthurt fanboy for the sake of making a funny self aware joke.
 
You say she’s the best written character, and yet nothing in her overall reception suggests that. Objectively, going by overall fan reception, it was ‘mixed at best’.
 
I honestly don’t buy into the crap excuse that ‘the people are at fault for having shit taste’. If a character is being marketed as a well written character to people, and people don’t see it, then its losing its goal of being an entertaining well-written character to the majority of people. There ARE factors that can cause something to be underrated of course. A bad first episode, a controversial moment, weak marketing, etc. But none of those apply to Starlight. Her mixed reception was due completely to lack of merit.

Except she is literally the opposite of what you say. Shes the best written character on the show. Her backstory and writing is possible some of the best in the show. She actually saved the show and helped give it the best season in the shows history.

You on the other hand, are a very easy person to forget considering you don’t know a good thing when its presented to you. Why don’t you go join the fake fans who don’t provide anything good to the fandom.

In all seriousness, I’ll probably forget she exists in a year. Her character had so little impact, its pretty amazing. I’m honestly not surprised that for such a supposedly important main character, they didn’t even care enough to give her an older design.
 
Maybe if the writers weren’t lazy about every aspect of her, her reception wouldn’t of been so mixed. And honestly its pretty hard to forget that her evil self was twice as intelligent and genre-savvy then her reformed older self.

I hope that they continue to use these characters in the future.
