While this fan comic was pretty good, (I wouldn't say a "masterpiece" though, no offense to the artist) honestly it's a li'l too dark, and edgy to be on par with anything canon MLP IMO.
While canon MLP admittedly has it's dark moments, (even in the original '80s cartoon) but in the end it's not supposed to be this dark, so it still feels like a fan comic to me.
(Not that there's anything wrong with that.)
