I generally don’t mind edits of non-commissioned work, for commissioned work, the commissioner owns and they set the rules.
 
The Filly however is public domain and I will on principle not try and lord over any of her uses, take this as my permission to edit anything I do with the filly in it in whatever way you like without asking for permission. I just removed my tag from the picture because I don’t want it attached to my profile.

How weird that the edit was deleted. The artist just removed his artist tag from the edited picture.  
That would not be a “you can stay, just don’t use my tag”? Why delete it anyway if the artist give the blessing to stay and don’t have any “do not edit” in his tag?
