That would be good for a flashback, seeing how Cadance became the princess of love.

Actualy, those first three things are fanon, too. Cadance has less power than Shining Armor, seems to age normally, and hasn’t even been implied to have earned her position.
 
Celestia and Luna fit all four of those, but they’re something special.

That’s what I fear.

I can answer all your questions. Because fans of a show (of any show) are batshit crazy, possessive, and believe the show has to go exactly as they think it should go. This is no different than the Cadence drama and the Derpy drama of the past, or any of the dramas we will have to endure in the future (shudder). It is also people like you, my dear OP, who help perpetuate the drama. Oh yes, everytime someone asks this (You’re about the 30th. About half of the Alicorn Drama images are basically this same question), the drama train toots it’s horn and leaves the station.

I think it’s the speculation that Twilight Sparkle might forget about her friends. Alicorns seems to have a bad reputation amongst the fans based on the OCs.

Because we’re stupid and prone to jumping to conclusions. After all, Twilight becoming an alicorn obviously means she’s going to change her personality, abandon her friends, be held up to a completely different social class so her friends will no longer be equals with her.
