This used to be new, but you could turn it off. Now you can’t anymore, looks like it. Gone are the times you could browse a tag and save a page for later.  
And the worst part is: it’s not the first image-browing website to do this, and it’s by far not the only one with that exact layout.

So… so do the thumbs just keep scrolling on and on the more you scroll down, like a Google search? I think I hear my RAM screaming at me to stop.

I just checked out the ‘new’ DA and I’m wondering where the heck my notifications for new posted art by my followed artists went. Did they all leave or just stop posting at once?
 
I’ll figure it out eventually, but the ‘new and easier to use’ DA doesn’t seem very easy to me.

Oh, looks like I misunderstood. Dang, they’ve made it permanent. Oh well, no more of that problem I guess. Still, I agree with others that this is stupid, and am very glad I finished up a set of searches on the site before all of this.

I don’t even use deviantART. I find their layout to be bad and it is hard to find the things you want.

Thanks. All except “Automated Perceptual dedupe match”. When two (almost) identical images are uploaded, duplicate report was created automatically, but now it has to be created manually even for identical PNGs.

I’m with Grapefruit, if you mean all that, then I respect that you recognized your problems in the past, and sympathize with the difficulties you still face for it. In fiction, let alone in real life, it breaks my heart to see people who honestly recognize and admit their flaws face problems because of them, especially when they’re in the past. I can only imagine the reasons why you might’ve been/are like that, and none of them are pleasant to consider…it might not mean too much in some senses, but my heart goes out to you.

Many on DA, Furaffinity and others are quick to block for the most minor of offenses, or even none at all. Some are even bad enough to block users for even faving their work, which runs counter-intuitive to the whole purpose of these art sites. They will give no warning they are about to do it, let alone tell you why and they will not unblock you for any reason, not that they can be prompted to even remember your account was even there.

No it’s not… Some like me can’t use Eclipse at all, because we’re on older devices.
 
Heck, many buttons won’t even work for me anymore, comment boxes won’t let me enter text, and every page can only show 3 image thumbnails for me, (and on the old site design, I could see like 50 thumbnails no problem) and menu text gets in the way. I literally can’t use DA anymore because of Eclipse, and I don’t wanna leave. So some of us have legit reasons to dislike the permanent change.

Oh dear. The new layout just went live. It’s crapola. The gorram site fills my browser history with links to comments on the page as they appear when I scroll down. What the hell is this?
 
Oh, jeez. I’m thankful my interaction with DA is limited.
