It’s always been a rule of mine to only tolerate that many songs if they help to tell the story, which they did. And they were pretty good songs, if short. Hopefully, they’ll release full versions if what we heard were shortened for time.
I would have liked it if they’d built up the Alicorn part a bit more first, but I’m pretty sure they’ll make that the opener to the next season.
Like always, the season finale leaves me wondering how the next will start, I wonder how Twilight being a princess will affect the dynamic of the group/show. These are going to be interesting times.
very musical,not very logical.
They maybe writing themselves in a corner.
They need to bring make derpy.
Wonderful spit-take.
I think it is all a dream or nightmare-to-be. CRYSTALS!!!
Definitely fast, but every minute was stuffed with good tunes and fantastic visuals. Nicole Oliver did a great job.
Ready for season 4 to bring the new status into play.

Well some people are saying it was meant to be the series finale. I bet the people at Studio B are all like “What do you mean Season 4 Workshop…?”
The plot itself was good, but would have benefited from being a 2-parter, one for going into the CM problem in more depth, one for the ascension. Songs were good.
I like the way the alicorn thing was done, as it’s clear that Twilight still views her friends as extremely important, and she ascended on merit rather than just being the chosen one or something like that.
TL;DR the concepts were solid, but the execution was rushed.
Season 4 - new mane 6.
Animators literally showed everything possible with Twi, FS, RD, Rarity, Pinkie and AJ. They can only now create new main characters, otherwise new season will be piece of shit.
I’d say, like “Flutter On”, this episode would have benefited from being two parter, but it still worked. How they handle Princess Twilight from here is what will make or break the show. I expect her to start doing actual princess stuff, and the show’s formula will have to undergo serious retooling to stay interesting and not stupid. I’m optimistic though. The time skip between seasons of “Young Justice” changed almost every character dynamic, and I greatly prefer season 2 over season 1.
I cried, the feeling of seeing the hallway of the past episodes did it in and the liquid pride showed. We really did follow Twilight’s journey and she succeeded.
Sadly people are going to be way over critical of the ep from the hype and general idea of it. Also the pacing, its a freakin Musical, Those are rather fast paced through song, usually leaving the audience to fill in the plot holes themselves.

What’s wrong? We still haven’t seen what’s gonna come next? We still don’t know if it is going to be permanent. Until then, why don’t we all hold our horses and wait until the next season, relax and not come up to early conclusions yet.
