The Naming Background Ponies thread recently named these two background ponies Tabasco Pepper (which was my suggestion) and Bubblegum Pop (which tied with Sugar Flower). I think they’re cute and deserve some more pictures than just blurry screencaps, so I used a Patreon reward to get them some original art.
Here’s the two having breakfast together. Though Bubblegum doesn’t seem to agree that chili peppers with tabasco sauce make for a balanced breakfast… Oh well, more for Tabasco!
Yeah, but everything in the image is like that; I think the lighting really was meant to be that drastic (maybe a bit exaggerated, but these are cartoon ponies we’re talking about).
It’s the lighting on Bubblegum Pop. Look at other pictures of her; the apparent color is different.
Looks correct to me.
Ah. Also, I realized that this is likely supposed to be low-res by virtue of being pixel art, so I retract my previous statement.
