Twilight, no matter what the next iteration of My Little Pony will be like, even if it somehow appeals me more, I doubt I’ll forget what you and your freinds have done to create such a great legacy. Twilight, your show has really been a milestone for girls’ cartoons and the MLP franchise in general. You should be proud of what you have done. I thank you for everything you have given us. You will not be forgotten.

honestly yeah G5’s gonna have to be really good to try and top all that G4 did, and tbh I feel bad for the new showrunner and the team who’ll work on it, mainly because I’m sure that’s the attitude they’ll be going in with, the whole “oh god what do we do now we have a decade of magic to follow up on” - although considering Transformers has like a hundred concurrent universes right now I’m sure they’ll find a way (but I somehow doubt G5 will be as gritty as a majority of the Transformers universes are unless they shill out enough money to get fuckin’ Genndy or whoever)
 
seriously, how the hell is G5 Equestria gonna beat out the vastness of G4 Equestria? I feel like G4 introduced so many species to the table (griffons, hippogriffs, changelings, yaks, sphinxes, more dragons than before, etc.) that again they’ll have to go the extra mile to make it different, and especially in terms of the inevitable spinoffs - like, how the fuck do you top Equestria Girls? what other fresh genres could you even use when G4 pretty much used them all?

i actually believe g4 will be remembered more than g5, considering the cultural impact of g4 and now that most cartoons nowadays just fall under “great but not memorable”
