To help Twilight with something she already learned…

Theres also the fact that he brought the trio together, demanded that they work together for him, threatened them with Sombra’s death and his power to keep them in line and gave them the false promise of ruling Equestria and encouraged them to keep being villanous with the full intent of having them be defeated and possibly face a fate worse then they already had. That is downright evil.

Theres also the fact that this happend after he was given a second chance, after he sided with Tirek and after everything else he learned about friendship and after all the second chances he got. The trio meanwhile got no help or attempt from anyone to try and reform them.

What if the petrification spell is like Demolition Man’s cryogenic sleep, with friendship messages being played on repeat to subliminally rehabilitate them as they ‘sleep’?

Baby Doll was her name but I thought they based her off on another child villain from an animated movie. Either way we still have no in-show evidence of her being an adult.

I read somewhere that the writers were basing her off of that little girl villain in Batman who has the rare disease. I forget her name and am too lazy to google. Dollface or something?
Background Pony #9743
And voice actors are show writers since? They are not the one’s writing the scripts so their theories are about as valid as anyone elses. I stand by my claim that there is more evidence to her being a child then an adult.

Good point! But there is a video I watched where Cozy’s voice actress, Sunni Westbrook, theorized that Cozy may not be a filly at all, but an adult with a rare disease that made her look like a child. :) This is not fully confirmed and this is only coming from the VA. xDD So it depends if she is truly a filly or not! ^^ I am still sticking to my theory that she is an adult in a kid’s body. I know she said that she is a kid in the Season 9 premiere, but she could also be lying! Hehe! You know how Cozy is! Just my opinion though! Hehe!

Currently there is more evidence to her being a filly then not. And if Cozy’s getting stoned for the bad things she did, why not restone Discord? Why not stone Starlight or Tempest? And yes, not every villain can be reformed but we don’t know that if there is no attempt and there was no attempt to reform Cozy.

If you want more villains who refused to change their ways look at Discord, who mocked Fluttershy when he was first released. He changed because time and effort was put into reforming him. Something Cozy, Tirek and (to a lesser extent) Chrysalis never got. Those three at least showed potential to reform in Frenemies, which other reformed villains never showed prior to their redemption moments.

And really, was there literally no other way to hold a literal child then petrifying her?

Is she truly a filly though!? Is she!? DUN DUN DUUUUUUN! xDDD But yeah, because of all the bad things Cozy has done, this is the best punishment for her for now. Maybe in the near future, if she is willing, she can break out and try to reform herself, but Sunni Westbrook has said that there is a low chance for Cozy to be reformed! Not all villains can be redeemed. Some want to remain evil. So yeah. xDD Chrysalis, Tirek, Cozy, Grogar (the real one in Equestria’s past, not the fake one saw in Season 9), and Sombra serve as great examples of villains who refuse to change their ways! :P I always had a problem with the rushed redemptions in the Equestria Girls series and some of the rushed reformed antagonists in the show itself. So this is a great change of pace for me personally! Just my opinion! :)

Not really? Her first plan required Tirek’s help and plenty of luck while the second had her team up with Tirek and Chrysalis. Sure, she’s smart. Maybe even a genious, but there are kids as smart as her.

And theres still the case of Starlight, Tempest, Luna and Discord who all got second chances and effort put into reforming them despite the fact that they would logically be much more dangerous then a filly. And I’m sure most of them also knew what they were doing.

Yes, kids can do bad things but that doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t try to rehabilitate them, especially when examples like Discord, Starlight and Tempest exist. Turning them to stone is not ok.

Poor filly deserved better.
Background Pony #5816
And people are going to keep on the “poor filly” nonsense and completely ignore what she did. Hear that kids? Commit all your crimes while you’re young and cute. That way a justice system based solely on personal opinion will set you free.
