We know that Celestia is a people person and is great on putting on a mask in social situations. I headcannon that she would be overly friendly and social to try to get the ponies to look past when she was Daybreaker and that she’s good now.
It backfires severely. It makes everyone super uncomfortable and ponies call her out on it. Until Diamond Tiara talks to her about being overly nice, etc.
