Probably the biggest thing is that it would be seen as competition with art on the web, which is something far more establidhed and respected online.
There’s no such thing as free money. That money has to come from someone you tricked. Pony artists aren’t going to stoop that low.
Also there’s a high risk they lose their free money quickly.
