Being a child has nothing to do with intelligence, understanding or capability, it only has to do with age, so yes, while what she did and what she was trying to do were terrible, children still should not go to what is basically Hell, even if it’s a G rated version of Hell.

I can see that, but I’d argue that Cozy Glow is no child. She knew what she was doing. Mind you, I’m not condoning the act, but someone who can drain the entire world of magic without horn is an extremely dangerous foe.

Mostly irritation, but it’s also a card they play whenever any pony tries to give them a moral speech: “And we don’t use another species’ country as a dumping ground for criminals” and “And we don’t dump children in prison to rot for the rest of their lives” along with a good “so shut the hell up with your moral ‘superiority!’” :P

Yeah, the big thing is that they’re willing to do this and they’re being paid for it. Kim and Zophiel just take themselves so seriously that Kim is acting like it’s some massive insult that she’s been summoned to do something silly instead of something “worth her time”. Meanwhile Zophiel is acting as if a small handful of people summoning demons to do small-time things will somehow end the world, without realizing that world-ending threats happen all the time in Equestria and have literally nothing to do with Kim or her kind :P

The things GMHAA summons her to do are very minor, so the pay is very little. But a job’s a job, so you do what you’re payed to do.

No? Kim is being paid in GMHAA’s life force (don’t worry, it recovers over time), and Zophiel is doing it so GMHAA will stop summoning Kim (so that ponies won’t get the idea that it’s okay to summon demons to do your chores). They’ve both got some (admittedly very small) stakes in this is situation, and nobody is being forced to do anything.

I could be missing something, but doesn’t all this equal slavery ?

Sheath has been trying to teach GMHAA that it’s not right to “do” every creature he meets, yet he still has over twenty kids. Zophiel’s gonna be spending a lot of time in Equestria if she’s gonna teach GMHAA anything about right and wrong.

With how cheap and easy it is to summon Kim, convincing GMHAA to stop would require Zophiel to do whatever stupid things he asks for completely free. But would she be ready for such a commitment?

Though what if she really wanted a family and had a crush on him deep down? Or is the love and affection held by another person for oneself a material possession?
