It’s very much the same in my continuity, just with two big deviations. One is that when Starlight tried to go back in time to destroy Equestria she overshot it a little, give or take a few million years, and was never seen again. Rumor has it she knows (or rather, knew) definitively what killed the dinosaurs. Thus, it was Discord, Trixie, Thorax, and Spike who saved everyone from the changelings: having already been accepted for what they are by Spike and his friends, Thorax never felt pressured to force them to change their appearance to appease the ponies :P

Not at all, I apologize for over doing it. It was just me spouting off a sarcastic peeved nature about Trixie’s antics originally. Nothing more. Once more I apologize for my wording and my brashness.

It really feels like some of the discussion here is getting both personal, and entirely meta to the artist’s work. If you two need to have a personal discussion, please have it via PMs.

And if the characters in this drawing - the actual ‘how the show handled them’ or stuff that is utterly unrelated to this artist’s work is bothering you, then please jump to the forums and have that discussion there.

Everyone has different opinions on different ponies. And she wasn’t a random pony i do admit but she was a shit talker she did back it up in her show but not when it mattered. Then she came back and challenged and then ousted Twilight from her town and home over the ‘slight’ Twilight gave to her. What that slight was i have never really understood. Twilight was the one who forgave Trixie and allowed her to leave. She never sought out to make Trixie look bad. All she did was deal with a situation calmly and safely that being the Ursa. It is for this reason why I dislike Trixie. her anger and hatred of Twilight came from nowhere and seemed overly aggressive and targeted.

I’m a bit late (and by late I mean two or three days, which really isn’t that long) but I might as well give my honest opinion on all this.

I honestly feel bad for you, not because you hate Trixie, but because of what my friend said about you (not going to repeat what he said) because you had an honest opinion (assuming this wasn’t bait and you don’t actually hate Trixie, but I don’t think you were baiting) on a fictional character that doesn’t exist. It’s sad that so many people (not just on here, but everywhere) are getting offended over the smallest things like a stupid pony. You have an opinion, and I respect it, even though I disagree since Trixie is a lot more than just a random shit talking pony, especially in Magic Duel.

This is post-School of Friendship. Changelings just don’t suck in my continuity and kept their original coloring. Though, Trixie and Ocellus have known each other for a fairly long time: turns out stage work is a great way to get free love, and having a shapeshifting partner is pretty handy during a magic act :P

All she has to do to get away with this is point out how changelings pranking each other by shapeshifting is a cultural tradition. Then she can watch Twiggles squirm as she has to choose between being culturally insensitive or praising Trixie for taking part in such traditions :P
