I’ve not found a link, and the author disappeared after Thanksgiving 2020, though his presence diminished a few months prior, around April if memory serves. I’ve not found a reason why, but rumor is he became extremely unpopular that year.

And as for the other two, I think they realized killing these two off would’ve not been good, considering the popularity of those two.
Obviously killing Discord was scrapped, as there’s a story where he’s a misguided antagonist the Gen 5 cast have to deal with.
Let’s not forget about how angry FlutterCord shippers would be if Discord was killed.

Celestia, Luna and Discord were supposed to be killed off.
lol, there was this guy who planned to end the “1000 years later” part of his FiM1 AU with the big villain managing to kill off Discord and the Nightmare2 before his main character killed off said villain in turn.
Obviously killing Discord was scrapped, as there’s a story where he’s a misguided antagonist the Gen 5 cast have to deal with.
