The last two seasons in general were pretty awful, and even before then, the show was becoming very mediocre. They had one last chance to redeem it all with a great series finale…yet somehow they managed to make it even worse than it already was. They really should have ended this series back in seasons four or five at the latest.
This. If MLP had ended at season five (or season six or seven at the latest) I would have been happy. I didn’t like season 8 when it first came out but don’t care anymore.
