Family logic has always been like this since G4, members don’t like eachother, neither parents and children nor siblings. Sunny doesn’t look like her father at all, you even have Twilight and Shining Armor related yet they don’t look like eachother. They don’t even share the same last name, let alone talking about looking like eachother.

Opaline be reformed? Hmm… Quite possible. I mean it seems like MYM is wrapping up after chapter 6 so something is bound to happen.
