To say that I hate her is an overstatement. To say that I find her to be quite overrated is spot on. She’s not a bad pony, but people give her way too much credit.

It’s funny, because I don’t notince at all the thing you say about RD. Guess we all just see through our bias googles.
 
Fluttershy didn’t stop being completely shy, and she wasn’t suppeoed to, though she still toned it down.
 
Through almost entire Keep Calm And Flutter On, shy acts toned and confident, to much contrast when we meet her for frist time when she was affraid to speak her own name.
 
She learned how to say “no” as we see at the begging of Dragonquest - in Dragonshy she just allowed herself to be dragged to deal with dragon.
 
She is still shy and timid, but she grown to just accept that as shown in “Return of Harmony”.

Also, is the Hasbro-hate really necessary? If you truely think Hasbro is trying to “divide up the fandom,” and such with a mere innocent “just for fun” fan-poll, then I don’t know what to say to you.

How is this “lesson” shown in later episodes of the series? She doesn’t seem to act as different as say, Rainbow. In the first season and the first half of season 2 Rainbow acted overconfident and cocky as a way to hide her inner insecurities. In season 3 she seems to have gained much more confidence and so she has toned down her “cockiness” massively. Her character has grown since the series began. Give me examples of how exactly Fluttershy has grown as a character
