You sir in your words have probably expressed what I was trying to say better than me so much I’m almost ashamed I didn’t bring that one in right way,it offers a simple explanation that no one can really argue unless you get so deep in mythology its not really relevant to the show anymore .still this guy at least taught me where unicorns came from(thought I still think that first image is a dahm cow)
This only takes into account ancient unicorns and not the modern depiction. I’d say that based on Princess Platinum’s attire and the fact that Canterlot seems like something out of a European fantasy that they are probably English or from the British and surrounding islands. Horned horses are a very new thing, which also originated from Britian and the United States. This is the information OP is trying to counter. If you go there, you’ll find an extensive amount of discussion about unicorns and pegasi before it decayed into petty arguments. >>363545

Well for the image I like to think that image 363545 better suits a a grander view of mlp/ human equivalent origins as it places multiple species confirmed in the show ,thought the author of this one says it only part one. YEs I agree that unicorns had their own classes before the unification though and limitless farm just not certain things or things they wanted ,and as for comas I don’t care for gramer much in a comment box unless it totality bothers my intent

Pretty much agree with them, to be honest. I’m interested in seeing if the OP has anything to say about the other pony types.
About the only thing I have to add is that unicorn ponies are capable of farming, as was demonstrated by their willingness to split off from the earth ponies. That means that some unicorn pony analogues would have been lower castes and classes prior to their integration with the other tribes.

1 I did kinda mention the Greek and probably Arabic origin of Pegasus and implied their use of the “original”Greek culture for Pegasus .BUt I admit. I didn’t really have an argument in my speech even though I formatted it like one,that bothers me i guess I tried to say that I respected this guys research and options and I stated I as a person couldn’t see the fim ponies as south asian ,not trying to start an argument simply my thoughts which is the purpose of the comment box rigth, I thought I tried. Hard to avoid the accusation of boiling it down to “unicorns are white but I guess I didn’t really much more than what I said above into it,I like to hear your thoughts on this chart if your would as I have given mine

Your argument boils down to saying that humanized unicorns are Caucasian because you say so.
This guy actually has some logic behind his reasoning. Additionally, pegasus ponies have been treated as having Greek/Roman traits in the show, so non-European origins are actually likely.
Well …you certainly did your research on everything …now all this is probably rigth(thought I think the first one looks like a cow)but even though I usually like comparisons charts like this ,I mean really this goes wayyyyy too deep into mythology .I mean not that this is a bad thing but I mean c’mon ,this is too far .I respect the unicorns origins but I’m sure a large percent of people only know or care about the European esique unicorn that the show bases it ones on. NOt to sound offensive or anything but its a safe bet that the fim unicorns along with Greek Pegasus (who also probably have some Arabian origins as well ) are based on europiun culture .THere is nothing wrong with this image or this guy opions ,their based on history and fact,but honestly i can’t take this guys suggestion of fim unicorns being southern asian seriously . Now that I’ve said that go have your shitstorm.
