@Background Pony You know how agonisingly hostile google is to people that want to get their email accounts back after their automated bullshit system flags them as not-real-people-or-not-real-names? That’s the method we use to ‘prove’ a dnp is real or not. Hence, there will likely never be a dnp list because of the massive inconvenience attaining such status will require. Yes, personal experience with such google shenanigans was what inspired me to propose such a system to them. Thanks MA Google!

Then they’re doing a bad job at scraping here because they’re only getting a couple of new images per day. With a bit of smart tag filtering and dupe detection it would be relatively easy to build a decent automated scraper.
 
As for moderation, I think these search results tell me everything I need to know about the differences between you and them.

It’s pointless anyways since they already scrape from us and other places; we even provide a helpful API to assist people in doing just that.

If I’m not mistaken ~90% of images on derpibooru are taken from other sites. In fact derpibooru has an automated tool to do just that.
